Penns Manor’s school board meets on Wednesday. The district has posted a draft of its 2025-28 Comprehensive Plan for public review. Among the highlights of the 39-page document are a review of each school’s overall performance, noting strengths and challenges; summaries of district educational initiatives; and a look into the future with an assessment of current and upcoming needs, goal setting and action plans. Two of the biggest challenges the Comprehensive Plan points out are an increase in economically-disadvantaged students in the district and a related increase in special education needs.
