No names have been published, but the State System of Higher Education’s search for a new chancellor continues, with the timeline progressing toward a new leader starting work this summer. Former chancellor Dan Greenstein announced his departure last summer and interim chancellor Christopher Fiorentino began work in October.
The search committee is to pick its first-round candidates this winter, which ends in less than two weeks, with second round candidates meeting with students, faculty, trustees, alumni, and elected leaders and other stakeholders in the early spring, and a chancellor chosen and approved soon after.
The search committee is being aided by the consulting firm AGB Search.
