Legislation to repeal the ban on Sunday hunting could be reintroduced in Harrisburg.
Sen. Dan Laughlin reintroduced Senate Bill 67 this week, which would end the state’s prohibition on Sunday hunting and allow the Game Commission to include Sundays when establishing hunting seasons annually.
The bill showed promise last year, until time ran out in the legislative session. Now the bill has another chance, with ample support from many sportsmen’s groups in the state, as well as the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
This bill would benefit hunters, as well as the future of wildlife management.
