It is NHL trade deadline day and the Penguins are expected to be very busy as president of hockey operations Kyle Dubas strips the underachieving roster of players in exchange for prospects.
Meanwhile, coach Mike Sullivan is looking forward to center Tommy Novak joining the Pens. Novak was acquired from Nashville along with defenseman Luke Schenn on Wednesday. Sullivan likes Novak’s skill set.
Sullivan says deadline day is always difficult for players and their families.
The Penguins are in Las Vegas tonight to take on the Golden Knights, facing off at 10 PM on 92.5 FM U92.
