WHAT WE FIRST REPORTED
A Starford woman is scheduled to be sentenced in Indiana County Court today for two different cases, including one case where she pleaded guilty to arson.
Court documents show that 45-year-old Amanda Irene Elliott is due today before Indiana County President Judge Thomas Bianco for sentencing hearings. In one case, Elliott pleaded guilty to a sole count of arson with danger of death or bodily injury for a fire that she started on June 4th of last year. Officials at the time said that there were multiple points of origin of the fire that eventually destroyed a garage and damaged a house. Officials said that this fire was not connected with any other arsons.
In the other case, she pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance that goes back to March 5th of last year.
