IUP TENNIS, TRACK & FIELD RESULTS

TENNIS

The 19^th-ranked IUP women’s tennis team snapped Bucknell’s five-match win streak with a 4-3 victory over the Bison Sunday afternoon. It’s the second win over a Division I opponent this spring for the Crimson Hawks, who improved to 4-2 on the year. 

IUP had to rally for the win. Karolin Kirchtag and Katy Graydon had their only doubles win.  But they took four singles matches, with Kirchtag, Natasha Munday, Lydia Vlachou, and Laura Dunarova getting the wins.  Munday is 5-0 this season in dual match play.

TRACK & FIELD

IUP sophomore Kendall Branan won the men’s 800 meter title as the IUP track & field teams wrapped up their weekend at the 2022 PSAC Indoor Championships Sunday at Edinboro.

The IUP men finished 10^th out of 12 teams.  The women were 13^th out of 15 teams.
