Monday night, the Center Township Supervisors approved the easement agreement for Linea Solar.
The agreement will run some power lines along 5th Street in Lucernemines near the community park. Project manager Nicole Affleck said that it will take about a year to complete starting in spring of next year, and if the lines run over any of the playground equipment, they will address the issue.
The supervisors also approved purchasing a sweeper fan for their sweeper truck at a cost of $5200.
