The Pirates were out of the game before the third inning last night as Arizona scored eight quick runs off starter Chad Kuhl. on the way to a 9-3 Diamondbacks win.
The series continues tonight with Ivan Nova on the mound for the Pirates.
The rained-out Wednesday game with the Milwaukee Brewers will be played as part of a doubleheader on July 14th at PNC Park. It will be the third Pirates’ doubleheader created by rainouts this season.
