INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana borough police have charged a Creekside man in connection with a domestic dispute on Tuesday. Officers were called out at 9:32 PM to a home in the 300 block of Gompers Avenue for the incident involving 23-year-old Ariah Alabran and an unnamed victim. Alabran fled the scene before police arrived. During the investigation, officers discovered that he was involved in a fight with the victim that resulted in injuries. Alabran later returned to the house and continued the fight when he was taken into custody. Bail was set at $20,000 and he will have a preliminary hearing on March 12th.
A Johnstown teen faces drug-related charges for an incident in Indiana Borough in early February. Indiana Borough Police say on February 9th, officers pulled over a car driven by 19-year-old Patrick O’Connor for a summary traffic offense. Police seized a large amount of marijuana from the vehicle. On top of the traffic-related charge, O’Connor is charged with possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia.
