The Pirates and Brewers were rained out last night in Pittsburgh, and with both teams already scheduled to play today against other opponents, they can’t make it up today. The Brewers are back in Pittsburgh next month and again in September, so the series finale will be made up during one of those visits.

The Pirates recalled Adam Frazier from Indianapolis yesterday and placed Corey Dickerson on the Family Medical Emergency List. Dickerson will miss at least three games. The team did not disclose the reason for his absence. With recent speculation that the Pirates will soon call up Jung Ho Kang, Frazier might not have been the most likely recall candidate, but Kang was removed from the Indianapolis lineup yesterday with left wrist discomfort.
Outfielder Austin Meadows says his injured left foot is “100 percent” and “Good to go”. He took a foul ball off the foot during an at-bat Sunday afternoon against the Reds. Meadows did not start the first two games of the Brewers series but pinch hit on Tuesday.
