The District 6 AA girls and boys championships are tonight at Mount Aloysius College, with three of the four teams from the Heritage Conference and both games on Renda Digital TV.
The girls title game features a matchup of the two top seeds, 21-4 Bishop McCort and 22-4 Penns Manor. The Crushers have taken out Homer-Center and Bellwood Antis in the playoffs while the Comets have beaten Claysburg-Kimmel and Southern Huntingdon.
In the boys championship, 20-5 Heritage Conference champion Portage faces 18-6 Northern Cambria, a team that has beaten the Mustangs twice this season, by 13 points and by 3. In the playoffs, Portage has beaten Claysburg-Kimmel and Bishop McCort while Northern Cambria has eliminated Homer-Center and West Branch.

In the Class A championships last night, Bishop Guilfoyle’s girls beat Bishop Carroll, 61-44, and the Conemaugh Valley boys topped St. Joseph’s, 70-58.
