A second week of state budget hearings gets underway tomorrow with the House Appropriations Committee chaired by Representative Jim Struzzi taking testimony from the Department of Education. Later in the week the committee will hear from the departments of State and Labor & Industry, the Office of Attorney General, and the departments of Agriculture, Judiciary, Environmental Protection, Conservation & Natural Resources, and Aging.
In the Senate, the budget hearing schedule this week begins on Tuesday with DEP and the Department of Aging, then Education on Wednesday, and Agriculture and Community & Economic Development on Thursday.
