A woman charged with cruelty to animals was sentenced yesterday in Indiana County Court.
President Judge Thomas Bianco ordered Krista Yeager to serve one year of probation. The 23-year-old was one of three suspects in an animal cruelty case in Indiana Borough last September. She, along with Zachary Yeager and Lailone Dallas, were charged after borough police investigated their home in the “00” block of North 2nd Street. Officers were informed of a deceased dog on the property and discovered it had died of neglect, and two other dogs were showing similar signs. The two dogs were taken into proper care.
Dallas and Zachary Yeager are due for formal arraignments on March 25th.
