Preliminary hearings are set for today for a Seward woman charged with multiple counts of theft.
Four hearings are scheduled for 29-year-old Dana Lynn Findley for incidents from February 4th to the 10th where she was charged with theft by deception in four different incidents. Indiana Borough Police charged her with theft connected with incidents at the Sheetz at 4th and Philadelphia Streets in Indiana Borough. Police say on three occasions, she took an item off the shelf at the store, and took it up to the registers to return it for a cash refund.
Police also accused her of shoplifting by taking an item and leaving the store with it on February 9th. She was charged via a non-traffic summary citation filed through district judge Guy Haberl’s office. Her hearings this morning start at 1:00 this afternoon.
