The IUP basketball teams swept Clarion last night in their next-to-last regular season games.

Women’s coach Tom McConnell says reaching the twenty-win mark once again is a great achievement.
IUP’s men dropped a spot in the second regional rankings, which came out yesterday. West Liberty leapfrogged the Crimson Hawks to take the top spot. IUP is number two, followed by Fairmont State, Cal U., Mercyhurst (which beat Cal last night), UPJ, Millersville, and West Virginia State in the top eight.
The IUP women moved up two spots in the regional rankings, to number 6. Glenville State is number one, followed by Kutztown, Cal U., Shepherd, Gannon, IUP, Seton Hill, and Bloomsburg.
The final regional rankings will come out next week when the Division Two playoff brackets are released.
