In District 6 Softball playoff action last night, Homer-Center beat Penns manor 3-1. Trailing 1-0 after the top of the 7th, Homer Center got a rally-starting double by Emily Worchester and later in the inning, a bases-clearing double by Abby Ginter.
Worchester was also great on the mound, as she struck out the final batter of the game on a change-up, eliminating the Comets and advancing Homer-Center to the next round.
