A Greyhound bus crashed in Westmoreland County last night.
The crash was reported on Route 271 between Rachelwood Drive and the county line in Fairfield Township around 6:00 PM. A Greyhound spokesperson said that the bus was travelling from Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, and believes the crash was due to the icy road conditions. State police were on the scene along with crews from the Wilpen Volunteer Fire Company.
A relief bus picked up the passengers on board to take them to their final destinations. No word if anyone was hurt.
