Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt did get into some trouble during the final game of the season for checking his cell phone during half-time.
In an interview with Dan Patrick, he said that during the game January 9th against Baltimore, Watt was checking to see if officials ruled the first tackle he had against Baltimore’s QB counted as a sack because of the botched snap. Watt was fined $10,000 for the infraction.
That first tackle did not count as a sack, but a second one did, and that tied him with Michael Strahan for most sacks in a season.
