State troopers are looking for two people involved a chase yesterday in White and Center townships.
State police said around 12:31 PM, a red Nissan Altima was seen going 45 miles an hour in a 35-mile-an-hour zone on Old Route 119 south and Johnson Road in White Township. When the trooper tried to pull the driver over, the car sped up and tried to flee, going 90 miles an hour on Old 119 South. The pursuing trooper lost sight of the car, but found the vehicle later abandoned on Lucerne Road Extension near Old Route 119 in Center Township. A subsequent search of the area was unable to turn up either the driver or the passenger. Police believe both fled on foot.
