State police are currently searching for two people who initiated a chase Tuesday afternoon in Homer City.
Troopers were led on a vehicle pursuit around 1 p.m. along Route 119 in Homer City and it ended at the Sheetz location along 119. They say the people continued the chase on foot but their direction of travel is unknown at this time.
At this time, it is unknown if the chase is connected with a crash near the intersection of Routes 56 and 954, which was reported around 12:30 p.m.
Homer-Center School District has increased security at all buildings and operations are continuing normally.
