Charges were recently filed against an Indiana man in connection with an incident December 5th. Borough police say they stopped a car driver by 20-year-old Dawson Bracken in the 300 block of South 5th Street around 1:45 a.m. and found him under the influence of alcohol to a point where he was unsafe to drive.
Bracken was taken in for evidence collection before he was released to a sober adult. A criminal complaint of DUI, underage drinking and summary traffic offenses were filed through District Judge Tony Sottile’s office.

A Uniontown resident was charged following an incident Friday night in Indiana Borough. Police say they were called to a bar in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street around 11:30 p.m. and found that Owen Reed reportedly used a fake I.D. to enter the business and consume alcohol. Reed was cited for underage drinking and carrying a false identification card.
