The Penguins’ four-game winning streak came to an end last night against the Maple Leafs.

Coach Mike Sullivan says the Penguins just didn’t have it.
Sullivan says that with a big game coming up on Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes, the Penguins have to be better than they were last night. The Pens have a two-point lead over the Hurricanes for the top spot in the MHL Metro Division, but the ‘Canes have played four fewer games. They play Nashville tonight.
The Pens continue to play without injured forwards Teddy Blueger, Jason Zucker, and Drew O’Connor. Sullivan says that as those players get healthy, it will create some pressure for the guys currently in the lineup.
Penguins captain Sidney Crosby said the effort last night was below the line.
The Penguins have not played the Hurricanes in two years. Crosby says Carolina will bring it on Sunday.
Sunday’s game at PPG Paints Arena faces off at one o’clock. The pregame airs on 92.5 FM U92 and the U92 Sportschannel is at noon.
