On top of all the calls for utility lines down, fire crews were also out yesterday to help find a missing child.
State police were alerted to a missing child situation around 5:45 PM. That’s when Indiana County 911 called for crews from the Coral-Graceton fire department to help police find the child. Coral-Graceton’s chief called for assistance from Black Lick and Homer City fire departments, but before they arrived at the command post, the child was found.
State police have not released details on the search effort.
