At Thursday night’s meeting, the Homer-Center School Board approved the district’s 2022-2023 calendar.
Unlike in past years, the district did not issue a survey to get the public’s opinion on the district calendar. Board President Michael Bertig talked about why the annual survey was not issued.
While there was no survey issued on the district calendar, board member Vicki Smith said that she would like to see a survey about the district itself.
In other business, the board approved the 2022-2023 ARIN budget. Homer-Center’s share of the budget comes to $27,469, which is a $51 increase over last year.
