The United Way of Indiana County wrapped up their 90th annual fundraising campaign and once again it was a rousing success.
Earlier today, co-chairs Amanda Augustine and Annie Rizzo announced that the United Way raised $661,030.90, surpassing their goal of $654,321.90. Augustine thanked all the people who supported the campaign.
Rizzo said that the six month campaign has gone by quickly, but she and Augustine met a lot of people who contributed to the success of the United Way.
It was also announced that over the last 90 years, Indiana County has raised $32,813,358.90.
Among the awards that were presented to the businesses and major contributors, Renda Media and Digital received the “Good Things” award for supporting the United Way through the organization’s regular appearances on Indiana in the Morning and the shifting of the Turkeython from the Oldies Attic on Saturday morning to Indiana in the Morning on Friday. The Turkeython this year raised $43,497.84.

The United Way also announced the 2022 campaign co-chairs. They will be Amanda Hilliard and Chris Adams from First Commonwealth Bank.
