Former IUP assistant Larry Wilson has found a new home in the PSAC, taking over as offensive coordinator at Clarion University.
Wilson served as IUP’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach over the last three seasons, leading the Crimson Hawks into the top five of several offensive categories in his first year, including scoring, passing, rushing, first downs, and total offense. He also helped IUP to a PSAC championship in 2022.
Wilson also spent time at California (Pa.) as the Vulcans’ wide receivers coach, special teams coordinator, and offensive coordinator.
Golden Eagles coach Raymond Monica issued the following statement in the announcement:
“We’re very excited to add Larry to our staff and have him lead our offense,” Monica said. “He is someone who has been a part of championship football in this conference, and he knows what it takes to win in the PSAC West division. I’m excited to have come here and help us continue to improve the program.”
