The January weather has been a challenge for school administrators this week and certainly for the sports schedules.
Here are some of the changes, for instance, at Homer-Center with postponements today:
Tomorrow, there will be a Junior High girls basketball game against West Shamokin at 4 o’clock, followed by a 6 o’clock varsity girls game against West Shamokin, and an 8 o’clock boys game between Homer-Center and River Valley. There will be no JV boys or girls, or Junior High boys games. AND, it’s all contingent on finding enough officials to do the games.
We’re still working on broadcast plans for the rest of the week. As of now, we’re planning to do the River Valley girls game at Penns Manor tomorrow night on 92.5 FM U92 and on Renda Digital TV, and we’ve added the rescheduled Marion Center/Penns Manor girls game on Monday to the U92 and Renda Digital TV lineup.
