The high school basketball season slows a bit this week with the completion of the Heritage Conference season. Teams have scheduled more games this week in order to accumulate rankings points for the District 6 playoffs. The last day to record points is Thursday, with the playoffs to start next week.
In the WPIAL, the Indiana High girls team has an intriguing matchup tonight, a home game against North Allegheny, the top team from 6A Section 1. North Allegheny is 18-1 overall and 12-1 in its section. Indiana is the number one team in 5A Section 2, with a record of 10-1 in the section and 16-4 overall.
