Phil Kessel scored 66 seconds into overtime, giving the Penguins a 5-4 win at Columbus against the Blue Jackets.
The Pens had to overcome four deficits to eventually win the game. Despite the loss, the Blue Jackets qualify for the playoffs.
Kessel also scored on a first-period power play goal, while Connor Sheary had a game-tying goal in the third period. Hornqvist had a goal and an assist.
