During the Penns Manor School Board meeting Wednesday night, the board gave District Superintendent Daren Johnston good grades for his annual evaluation.
The board approved his rating of “proficient”, which is the highest rating that could be given out. In various categories, Johnston was rated by the board members on a scale from one to five. Board member John Hardesty said that Johnston scored high on his evaluation.
In other business, the board granted permission to the administration to post for teachers and staff to operate the extended school year and Elementary Summer Learning Loss Camp for the Summer of 2022. The board also approved the ARIN budget for next school year, which comes to $3,323,887. Penns Manor’s share is $22,592.
