The Altoona Curve announced a time change for this Saturday’s game against the Akron RubberDucks, with first pitch now scheduled for 2 p.m. at Peoples Natural Gas Field. The team also announced that next Tuesday’s appearance by Andy Van Slyke has been postponed to a date that will be announced at a later time.
Saturday’s game, originally scheduled to start at 4 p.m., will be moved up two hours to start at 2 p.m. The Michael Ryan Fans’ Choice All-Time Curve Team Bobblehead, presented by First Commonwealth Bank, is still scheduled to be distributed when the gates open at 1 p.m. to the general public and 12:50 for season ticket holders. Ryan, an Indiana native, is manager of the Curve.
