It’s back to work for Indiana County’s school boards, with Purchase Line’s board leading off the January schedule. They will hold a work session tomorrow and the agenda includes a list of forty school district policies up for review and reconsideration. Also up for discussion is the next step for the required Comprehensive Plan for 2025-28, and a proposal to use over one million dollars for capital and non-recurring expenses. The voting session is scheduled for January 13th.
The United School Board holds a work session on Tuesday. Penns Manor’s board holds a committee meeting on Wednesday.
Also this week, the state General Assembly convenes on Tuesday at noon for the swearing-in ceremony for the start of the 2025-26 legislative session.
