Several items will be up for discussion tonight at the Penns Manor School Board meeting.
Among those items will be the district’s calendar for the 2022-23 school year. The ARIN budget will also be up for approval tonight, along with the district’s share of that budget. According to the tentative agenda, the district’s share will come to $22,592. The total ARIN budget comes to $3,323,887.
Several coaching positions will also be up for approval tonight, including the hiring of Christopher Zayachak as the new Junior High Football Coach, and Kirby Griffin as an assistant Jr. High Football Coach.
The board will also look to approve the evaluation of superintendent Daren Johnston. The agenda says that Johnston has earned an overall “proficient” rating. As part of that, the board will also post a statement on the district website indicating the satisfactory performance rating.
Tonight’s meeting will be held in the Penns Manor Board Room at 7:00, and will be open to an in-person audience and will also be streamed online through the district’s YouTube page.
