Steelers coach Mike Tomlin yesterday hired a new wide receivers coach, even though the team had failed to disclose that previous coach Ike Hilliard’s contract was not renewed.
Former Browns’ wideout Frisman Jackson has coached for Carolina for the last two seasons, serving as passing game coordinator last season. He has coached a season at Tennessee and at six colleges.
