Conference play in high school basketball resumes tonight after the holidays, and we have two games on the air.
On WCCS, the Homer-Center boys travel to Purchase Line. The Wildcats are 1-4 in the wide-open Heritage Conference West and the Red Dragons are 0-5. Airtime is 7:15.
River Valley and West Shamokin lead the West at 3-2, followed by 3-3 Marion Center and Penns Manor, then Homer-Center and Purchase Line. In the Heritage Conference East boys standings, Conemaugh Township is 5-0, United is 5-1, Portage is 4-1, Northern Cambria is 4-3, Conemaugh Valley is 1-4, and Cambria Heights is 0-5
On WDAD, Indiana’s girls visit Greensburg Salem for a WPIAL 5A Section Two game at 7:15. Indiana is 8-2 overall, and 2-0 in Section. The Golden Lions are 7-3 and 1-2.
