Indiana High’s wrestling team placed 44th out of 73 teams at the Canon-McMillan Powerade tournament, and senior Carter Putt surpassed 100 career wins in the event. Putt was 3-2, hitting the 100 mark with a win by fall and winning once more after that. Nico Fanella was 5-2 in the tournament and finished 4th in his weight division.
Indiana’s Junior High team won its second tournament this season, taking the Clearfield tournament. Eighteen teams wrestled in the event. Altoona was second and St. Mary’s third. Bo Blystone and Nate Turner took championships, Lew Sears, Derek Oaks, and Braylon Edwards all finished second in their divisions, and Liam Van leer had a third place finish.
