Pitt has hired former Duke assistant coach, Jeff Capel, as its new men’s basketball coach, replacing Kevin Stallings.
Louisville also has a new coach, as former Xavier head coach, Chris Mack takes over for interim coach David Padgett, who stepped in for Rick Pitino, who was fired.
Also, Penn State will play for the NIT Championship Thursday night after topping Mississippi State, 75-60, last night. Their opponent is Utah, a 69-64 winner over Western Kentucky.
