BOYS BBALL
Northern Cambria beat Purchase Line 63 -30 to win the Purchase Line Lions Club Invitational. Ty Dumm earned tourney MVP honors and had 26 points and nine steals on the night.
West Shamokin took the Cambria Heights Holiday Tourney, beating the host team 50-33 last night. Bradyn Rogers lead all players with 31 points, and was 14 of 24 from the field. He earned tournament MVP honors. Alex Talmadge had 11 points on the night.
River Valley won their first round game at the Apollo Trust Christmas Tournament with a 67-33 victory of the Leechburg Blue Devils. Nick Mortimer scored 15 points, Max Persichetti scored 14 and Jake Pynos scored 10. We will play in the championship game today at 6:30 PM.
Homer-Center defeated Meyersdale 65-33. Angelo Alexander lead the Wildcats with 22 points while Nash Budner and Max Voyda each contributed 10 points. No one in double-digits for Meyersdale. They were lead by Aiden Thomas with 9 points.
Portage beat Bishop Carrol 61-35.

Indiana beat Hempfield in the Latrobe Holiday tournament Friday night. Jake Slebodnick reports.
River Valley beat Burrell 62-36. Ava Persichetti led the Panthers with 33 points and Alessia Lamantia chipped in 11 points. RV moves to 9-0 and plays for AR Christmas Tourney championship today at 5pm.
