State police say a 43-year-old Homer City woman is the victim of an online theft of $632 from her Sezzle account. Sezzle is an electronic buy now/pay later service. Police say the unknown thief was able to access the woman’s bank account and make several purchases over a 24-hour period between January 19th and the 20th. The victim lives in Buffington Township.
A White Township man is a three-time victim of package thefts at his home in the Regency Square apartment complex. State police say that the thefts occurred between November 10th and 11th, December 2nd and 3rd, and January 30th and 31st. The items stolen were mostly groceries, with a total value of about $154.
State police say a Graceton man has been charged with criminal trespass after being caught by a business owner prowling around his property along Old Route 119 in White Township last Wednesday night. Police say 45-year-old John Naugle was walking through the business’s junk yard and possibly looking into vehicles. When confronted, he fled but was later located by the business owner, stuck in the snow with a flat tire. Naugle has two other cases pending in the Indiana County court system, one for drug possession and one for theft and loitering.
