The on-air basketball schedule heats up this week with high school and college games, starting with the Indiana girls hosting Kiski Area tonight on WDAD and the Marion Center boys visiting United on 92.5 FM U92.

There’s a big U92 Heritage Conference girls matchup on Wednesday when Penns Manor plays at Marion Center. On Thursday, West Shamokin’s boys visit Homer-Center on WCCS and on Friday, the Marion Center girls travel to Purchase Line on U92, while River Valley’s girls have a big one against Penns Manor on Cat Country 106.3 FM.
The IUP basketball teams host Kutztown for a doubleheader tomorrow starting with the women tipping off at 3 o’clock on U92, and both teams travel to Millersville on Saturday for another doubleheader, their last games before breaking for the holidays. They won’t play again until January 2nd.
Pitt plays on Saturday afternoon against Sam Houston State on WCCS, and won’t play again until January 1st, hosting Cal.
And a note about the Indiana girls and boys basketball games tonight and tomorrow: both teams are holding a food drive, collecting non-perishables to benefit the Chevy Chase Community Center.
