The state Department of Health says flu rates across the commonwealth remain low but are increasing, while respiratory virus rates are high, especially among children. RSV is up in the two main youth groups, 0 to 4 years of age and 5 to 24.
In Indiana County, there have still been only 35 cases of lab-confirmed flu this season. No RSV cases have been reported.
The numbers by county are spotty throughout Pennsylvania. Some counties don’t have any data at all because they don’t collect it.
