Pennsylvania residents who have not yet applied for the Property Tax/Rent Rebate program are asked to do so as soon as possible, as the December 31st deadline is rapidly approaching.
Thousands of eligible older adults and people with disabilities have not yet submitted an application, according to officials with the state Department of Revenue. As of today, 520,000 rebates totaling $311 million were processed.
Eligible applicants can apply for free through myPATH. You can also find eligibility requirements on the portal. There’s also a “Check My Rebate” tool so applicants can check the status of their application.
