Bowl season begins on Saturday when Western Michigan faces South Alabama in the Salute to Veterans Bowl.
Pitt will play in the GameAbove Sports Bowl in Detroit on December 26th against Toledo. Pitt has played this bowl twice, beating Bowling Green when it was known as the Little Caesars Bowl in 2013 and topping Eastern Michigan when it was the Quick Lane Bowl in 2019.
Like Pitt, Toledo is 7-5. The two schools have played three times, with Pitt holding a 2-1 advantage. The last time they played was in 2006, with Pitt winning 45-3.
