One person was injured as a truck crashed near the intersection of Routes 119 and 56 this morning.

Indiana County 911 dispatched the Homer City Fire and Police Departments and Citizens Ambulance at 9:46 this morning for the accident involving a truck. Fire Chief Terry Gardner said that the driver suffered a medical emergency while behind the wheel.
The driver was not identified by name. He was taken to Indiana Regional Medical Center for treatment. Gardner said that road conditions were not to blame for this crash. Portions of 119 and 56 were blocked off for crews to get the truck out and make sure that everything was safe.
