The Ligonier Valley Boys continued their championship ways as they won the District 6 AAA basketball championship with a 58-54 win against Richland on Friday night.
Michael Marinchak lead the team with 21 points and was 11 of 13 from the free-throw line. Marrek Paola also had 18 points in the victory.
With the win, Ligonier Valley moves on to the PIAA Class AAA Playoffs as the #1 seed from District 6.
