Punxsutawney Phil predicted this morning that there will be another six weeks of winter weather, and the next round of that weather could come as soon as Thursday.
While today, Accuweather is predicting temperatures to be relatively warm and will definitely help in melting some of the snow on the ground, Accuweather Meteorologist Carl Erickson said that things will turn cold when a wintry mix of precipitation hits our area on Thursday.
Accuweather is predicting anywhere from a quarter-inch to a half-inch of ice on the ground, and with 1-3 inches of snow on top of that, it could make driving tricky on Friday morning.
