As the start of the spring semester continues at IUP, the number of Covid-19 cases among students continues to increase.
From January 21st to the 27th, IUP has seen 88 students test positive for Covid-19. 36 of those students are living in on-campus housing and the remaining 52 are living off campus. IUP said that the students are following the health and safety guidelines as recommended by health care professionals.
This is an increase of 41 student cases of Covid-19 over the last week. In it’s first report of the Spring semester, IUP had reported 37 student cases of Covid-19 over a two week time span.
IUP is still encouraging students to follow all the on-campus health and safety guidelines from the University and recommendations from the CDC.
