IUP advanced to the PSAC women’s volleyball semifinals with a 3-1 win over Clarion last night at the KCAC. The Crimson Hawks took the first two sets, lost the third, then put it away with a 25-20 fourth set.
Jessica Nieman had 16 kills and a block for IUP. Delaney Concannon had 15 kills and Lauren Valentic added nine. IUP had 18 total blocks, with Olivia Heidel contributing six, to go with her 45 assists and two kills. Valentic and Rylee Brown each had four blocks.
IUP will play Shepherd in the semis on Friday at five o’clock at host site Gannon. The championship match will be on Saturday at 7 PM.
