No problem last night for the Pitt Panthers as they crushed VMI, 93-48. Jaland Lowe had a triple double with 11 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds. Six players were in double figures for Pitt, led by Ishmael Leggett with 14. Guillermo Diaz Graham scored 13 and Jorge Diaz Graham had 12 (on four three-pointers). Cam Corhen scored 12, and Damian Dunn 11.
The competition heats up for 5-0 Pitt from here on. Last night’s game was part of the Greenbrier Classic. They’ll play another game in the Classic against LSU in White Sulphur Springs, Maryland on Friday, and then against the winner between UCF and Wisconsin on Sunday, then on the road at Ohio State, Mississippi State, and Virginia Tech.
