IUP women’s soccer had five players earn all-conference honors yesterday. Indiana High grad Hannah Scardina was named PSAC West Athlete of the Year, while head coach Noreen Herlihy was named Coach of the Year. This marked the first time since 2006 that IUP had a Player AND Coach of the Year.
Scardina was also named to the All-PSAC West First Team, along with Emma Hayes and Emily Mannion. Makenna Yarrow and Adi Myers were picked to the All-PSAC West Second team.
Gannon’s Destinee Robertson earned Defensive Player of the Year Honors, while her teammate Jessie Watkins was Freshman of the Year.
